What is the best conservatory roof system?

If you’re weighing up which would be most suited to your conservatory, there are a number of key benefits between tiled and glass roofs. However, both utilise advanced materials to provide superior thermal capabilities and reduce external noises.

    • The heat-absorbing materials will retain the warmth of your home when its cold outside.
    • The multi-layered design can achieve U-values as low as 0.15.

    Glass conservatory roofs:

    • Solar controlled glass that deflects the sun rays when its warm outside.
    • Lightweight in appearance, the glass can withstand winds of up to 130mph and heavy rains.
    • A range of advanced double-glazing specs and colours to suit your requirements.
    • Self-cleaning glass is available for a maintenance-free roofing system.

Installing tiled and glass roofs across Tonbridge, Rochester and Canterbury

As both tiled and glass roofing systems offer the modern benefits anticipated from advanced designs, many homeowners opt for a conservatory roof replacement based on the appearance.

Traditional conservatories tend to suit glass roofs that let the natural light flood in and brighten the room. Tiled conservatory roofs are popular with home extensions, like kitchen conservatory extensions and dining rooms, whereby homeowners would like it to appear like a natural expansion from the home.
