How long does installation take?
Timescales vary depending on the size and complexity of the project, as well as the products selected. Before work begins, your surveyor and installation team will provide a clear schedule and keep you informed of any key dates.
Throughout the life of your order, you'll receive regular updates on progress, helping you stay informed from survey through to installation and completion. Our aim is to make the process as smooth and straightforward as possible, with clear communication every step of the way.
Do your products come with a guarantee?
Yes. FineLine products are supplied with comprehensive guarantees for added peace of mind. All window, door, conservatory, extension, garage door, roofline and cladding products include a 10-year guarantee.
Do I need planning permission?
Most replacement windows and doors do not require planning permission and can be installed under permitted development rights. However, requirements can vary depending on your property, particularly if you live in a conservation area, a listed building, or are planning a larger home improvement project such as an extension or new conservatory.
If planning permission is required, FineLine's dedicated Planning Team can manage the entire process on your behalf. This includes preparing the necessary drawings, submitting the application, liaising with the local authority and managing the application through to a decision. In most cases, there is no need to appoint a separate architect, helping to make the process simpler and more convenient for homeowners.
