“SEH BAC Fineline have a fantastic local reputation for home improvements, and we have friends who have had some impressive conservatories designed and built by SEHBAC FineLine in the last few years, so it was an easy decision to make.”
“At its heart is the open plan and seamless connection between the different areas within a home which the customer wanted, while it also maximises natural light and ventilation. The conservatory design has created a large open-plan extension that looks like a natural extension of the property – and creates a real statement.”
“We visited our nearest SEHBAC showroom, and the team were fantastic, listened to what we wanted to achieve and made the whole process as easy as possible. We wanted one expansive space for a kitchen, dining and living room that could all be connected, and we are so pleased with the result.”
As modern life becomes increasingly fast-paced and dynamic, open plan living has become more than just a design choice; it’s a way of life. By blending cooking, dining, and living spaces, it encourages interaction and serves as a social hub to bring the family together, creating a space that is both beautiful and highly functional.
One South East resident wanted precisely that, and having been familiar with SEH BAC FineLine, the leading home improvement company in the area, they tasked them to create an open plan extension at the back of their property that provided a seamless connection between the different areas of the home. And SEH BAC FineLine certainly delivered.

The perfect conservatory
Ideal for large, detached properties, the P-Shaped is perfect for a big open plan extension. The impressive made-to-measure uPVC conservatory combines the long and rectangular Lean To style with a more Victorian style to maximise the space for the homeowner. The conservatory has created two separate areas, with the Lean To section featuring a large kitchen/diner and the other part featuring a lounge, combining both to stunning effect. A lightweight high-performance solid roofing system combines large areas of glazing with solid, composite panel sections to maximise light while retaining privacy. It also allows the conservatory to blend in with the property, so it looks and feels like a natural extension. The glazing panels are also solar controlled to deflect the heat of the sun when it reaches a comfortable temperature inside.

Seamless connectivity inside and out
Inside, the kitchen, living room, and dining room become one expansive space, while the absence of walls creates a sense of spaciousness. A stunning set of bi-fold doors provide a seamless transition to the garden, opening the whole wall to create the illusion of even more space. The glazing panels and bi-fold doors maximise the natural light and ventilation, while fewer walls and barriers also helps light flow more freely throughout. A+ energy rated windows also help to save money on heating bills and, thanks to Yale multi-point locking systems on the windows and doors, the extension is ultra-secure.
Steve Rawding, FineLine and SEH BAC’s Sales and Marketing Director commented
“We are delighted the customer is happy with their new conservatory and our operations team have done a first-class job on the design and finish of the extension.”
